tigerDogs and toys

Stand away from the fluffy banana....

A common question is do tigerDogs like to play? Well if our tigerDogs are anything to go by the answer is a resounding YES. Playtime is funtime.

    Three, four, five...

  • image: I want..

    I want this one..
    and this one, and this..

    Spot the Greyhound..

    Toys? Nah. Can't stand them!..

    Fear the great striped hunter...
    tremble in his mighty presense.

Pretty conclusive evidence that tigerDogs love to play with toys, however you have to remember that your tigerDog may not know how to play and may need to be taught how. So be prepared to get on all fours, look stupid and most importantly have fun with your hound. They will soon get the idea and if not at least you've made the rest of your family question your sanity, which is a bonus...

Play bows and smiling

Occasionally your tigerDog will attempt to initiate a play session. They do this by "bowing" down in front of you, dropping their faces to the floor and keeping their bums in the air! This is called a "play-bow" and is just that, it means "Come on, play with me!"

Another play initiation involves the tigerDog baring their teeth. This is a tigerDog smile and is a non-agressive posture.
