Meet the tigerFriends.
In this section of the tigerFriends you will meet:
Jack.
Jack is very friendly and loves to see other greyhounds and lurchers when he's out and about. When he spots any, he goes all silly and runs as fast as he can to show off his agility and speed.
Some of his favourite pastimes include; pointlessly barking at birds whilst bouncing up and down on the spot, racing with his two lurcher brothers (he's always the winner) and chasing the family cat backwards, this makes it look like she actually is chasing him but of course he's not that much of a wimp. Honest...

Coming ready or not...Honest...
Jake.
Jake is a brindle lurcher. His favourite things include chasing after his two brothers when out walking, rolling in the most stinky 'matter' that he can find and sleeping (very unusual..).
When out walking he likes to run up to people and then lean on them. When they see that he only has one eye, they feel sorry for him and give him extra fuss and attention. Unfortunately he usually ruins the "I've only got one eye, feel sorry for me" routine by then looking extremely smug.

Of sleep. Probably.. -

Me? I'm innocent.
No-one saw me. You can't prove it...
Jake & Jo & Emmy.
Here we meet Jake (the big black one) and Jo (the little black one with the grey muzzle) who were originally from the Newcastle Cat & Dog Shelter.
Jake was once called Millers Tale & won a few races before losing one of his toes. Jo is officially 'un-named' and was a very timid frightened girl but through the love and dedication of her adoptive Mum & Dad she is much happier now and she loves her sheepskin rug!
Also pictured is Emmy, the brindle greyhound. Emmy is currently being fostered and is looking for her forever home. Emmy raced once, but was so scared by the crowd she ran straight off the track and out of the car park, hence she's now waiting for a home! Emmy loves cuddles, smiling & squeaky toys.
If you think that you can help, please visit the Northumberland Greyhound Rescue web site.
